Do You Need Help Determining How Much Your Boat is Really Worth?

There are really a lot of different types of boats out there. Prices can vary greatly depending on your location, and also the make, model, and year of the boat you are selling. Even if you find boats that are similar to yours that are priced similarly, you don’t know whether or not these boats are actually selling because all you can see is the asking prices, and not the actual selling prices.

One good way to help you determine the value of a used boat or RV is by using an online value guide. A lot of people searching for value guides such as the Kelly blue book for boats, or the NADA, are just trying to determine an approximate price. People can price it up and down by several hundred dollars and still be able to attract buyers and sellers.

If someone tries to price it above the blue book value for a few months and doesn’t get any calls or any buyers, they may drop their price in order to be able to sell it. You really need to do at least two or three different types of advertising in order to find buyers that are interested in your boat.
